Iβm Hazel, a DevOps / SRE engineer who cares about secure, observable, and maintainable infrastructure more than shiny buzzwords. I love automation, thoughtful tooling, and designing systems that scale smoothly and responsibly.
My background spans backend development, presales solution consulting, and large-scale SRE work β from cloud migrations and multi-region DR, to PKI, authentication, and keeping production systems stable under real-world constraints. Recently, Iβve been diving deeper into Zero Trust architecture, workload identity (SPIFFE/SPIRE), and practical key management for teams that donβt have unlimited budget or a full security department.
I enjoy turning messy infrastructure problems into clear models, diagrams, and repeatable practices that other engineers can actually use. Sometimes that means writing code and IaC; other times it means saying βnoβ to the wrong design.
Outside of work, I write about engineering, tools, and developer culture on my blog. I believe good infrastructure should make developers feel safe, fast, and confident β not terrified to deploy.
